Germantown, WI – The Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractor Association of Wisconsin (PHCC-WI) recently awarded it Auxiliary Scholarship to Brian Sandstrom of Cushing, Wisconsin. The award was presented by PHCC-WI’s Secretary/Treasurer Carol De Young of Countryside Plumbing & Heating of New Richmond, Wisconsin (see photo below). Ms. De Young also serves as an officer of the Auxiliary of the PHCC-WI, which raises money at various events to fund the scholarship award.

The Auxiliary Scholarship is presented each year to an outstanding individual that is enrolled or is planning to enroll in a school of higher education, whether a two-year or four-year degree program or a technical training program. Funds are used to partially offset registration, tuition, books and other costs associated with attending school.

Mr. Sandstrom was nominated for the award by Comfort Systems Plumbing, Heating & A/C in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. He is in his fourth year of apprenticeship training at Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College in both New Richmond and Rice Lake, Wisconsin.

PHCC – Wisconsin Association is dedicated to professionalism in the plumbing and HVAC industries. The association provides programs, services, education, and advocacy in support of plumbing and HVAC contractors throughout Wisconsin. The association is an advocate for codes, licensing, regulation and enforcement that protect public health and safety.
